Salary: to £30,000 doe
Experience within the construction industry and knowledge of materials used within the industry would be a great advantage. Audit and inspection knowledge and experience would also be of great interest.
The job holder will be required to drive the team in supporting the Audit and Inspection facility in achieving the SLA’s/KPI’s for all clients/schemes through effective client communication and diary management. To control costs and enhance income through this approach.
Essential
Sound geographical knowledge of the UK and general worldwide along with extensive knowledge of England and Wales (road links, major towns and cities etc.)
Use of Microsoft Office email, Word and Excel & SAP ideally
Understanding of SLA’s/KPI’s within a service based site visit culture
Active listening and verbal communication skills
Numeracy and computer literacy with an aptitude for spreadsheets and database management
Accuracy and attention to detail
Flexible approach and willing to undertake a variety of duties to enhance the services provided by the department
Well developed interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate at all levels.
Ability to prioritise work in a changing environment
Strong administrative skills
Fast flowing call centre type operations experience
Responsibilities:
Manage co-ordinators to plan, arrange and schedule inspection/assessment visits to ensure optimum efficiency of Inspectors/Assessors and maximum number of inspections/assessments.
• Inspections/assessments are both departmental or via external department field teams of inspectors/assessors in conjunction with their managers
• Liaise and report to clients and internal stakeholders visit performance
• Attend internal/client meetings as required to report on delivery
• Schedule to achieve all client/scheme KPI’s/SLA’s
• Plan department manpower to be flexible to meet the changing day to day needs
• Work with other department managers to achieve effective cover of inspectors and assessors
• Resolve queries and complaints relating to Inspection/Assessment visits.
• First internal escalation link for clients and end users.
A&I delivery team – employment, appraisals, training plans, holidays and welfare
SLA/KPI achievement and reporting
• Prepare, check and authorise invoices in accordance with the authority listing
