Salary: £24,000 to £30,000



Fantastic opportunity to work for our client who are suppliers of social care systems and solutions to the NHS.

 

This particular system is a modern browser based Java application that uses a SQL Database. The solution enables professionals to coordinate joint activities for children and adults with complex needs, in order to improve the experiences and outcomes of individuals and families.

 

This is a role which requires good interpersonal skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work as part of a team but also demonstrates initiative when working alone. This is together with the skills outlined below:

 

·         Strong Ability to prioritise and execute tasks

·         Strong Analytical Skills

·         In depth knowledge and experience of SQL Server

·         In depth knowledge and experience of writing SQL / TSQL queries for fixing data issues

·         Strong 2nd / 3rd line software / application support experience

·         Creative problem solving

·         Ability to prioritise and execute tasks

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills across all disciplines

 

Initially the role will be focussed on progressing the role out of the Application, this is a key project for the company. After the project is complete (estimated 6 to 12 months) the role will convert to a Service Desk Analyst role.

 

LAM Engineer:

 

·         Responsible for the role out and support of the LAM and Autoinstaller

·         Investigate, analyse and problem solve problems with the LAM and Autoinstaller

 

Service Desk Analyst:

 

·         Responsible for 2nd and 3rd line application support functions as part of the Service Desk

·         Investigate, analyse and problem solve Service Desk Incidents relating to the product set generally using T-SQL

·         Liaise and problem solve with Developers and with Third Party subcontractors

·         Install software updates to Customer’s live environments

·         Liaise with customers over issues and problems that they encounter
