Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 pro rata
In the role of WMS project support, you will report to the operations workstream lead and form an integral part of the WMS project team.
Your primary objective is to be part of the team that develop and rollout a WMS that is fit for the future of the business. The role will require the individual to be deadline focused to ensure the project is delivered on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Work collaboratively with the WMS project team to design and develop the new WMS and be an active member of the forum
· During the Conference Room Pilot share learnings and feedback to the WMS team for system-wide improvements
· Create WMS-related SOPs and process documentation
· Create test scripts and carry out user assessment tests before rollout of the system
· Take an active part in carrying out the technical training of all Warehouse staff on WMS system and provide coaching
· Produce and generate reports via WMS system on range of warehouse operational metrics, inventory accuracy/loss, and individual user proficiency and accuracy in tasks to better improve overall warehouse efficiency.
· Assist in new site launches (if applicable)
Skills & Experience(Minimum Requirements)
· Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in warehouse operations with extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory management best practices
· Experience learning new inventory management systems (NetSuite, SAP, Manhattan, Matflo or equivalent) to manage and control inventory accuracy
· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical and operational issues on your feet
· Extremely detail oriented and organized with a bias for action
· Ability to work well both independently and also to collaborate in a team atmosphere or with peers across multiple sites
· Experience conducting training and 1:1 coaching on technical topics and procedures
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Experience in Ecommerce or FMCG industries, or operationally similar industries preferred
· Flexible schedule; ability to travel and do overnight stays occasionally
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets
