Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 DOE
Market leader in the health sector and expanding into the Education market, their applications are web-based workflow solutions that include mobile apps and customer portals. They provide modern and intuitive user interfaces to support critical processes for both social care professionals and the public. The successful candidate will play a vital role in testing solutions in a service area that is comparatively advanced in its use of technology.
· Primary responsibility for assisting with the deployment and support of the existing data warehouse solution
· Progress to become the technical authority in the data warehouse deployment process and its continued development, optimisation and documentation
· Liaising with product teams to assist with the development and documentation of data migration specifications in line with product changes and customer requirements
· Ability to manage and deliver data migration services
· Product installations and upgrades
· Technical support to sales team including technical advice for tenders and specification of hardware
· Support for helpdesk and development teams with respect to data warehouse issues and infrastructure related questions
· General technical consultancy and support for local infrastructure and liaison with our parent company services teams to help manage rollout of new or improved services
Person Specification:
· This is a role requiring a person with significant experience, credibility, persuasive interpersonal skills, as well as the skills detailed below.
Skills:
· Communications skills – both internally with different teams and management levels as well as externally with clients
· Writing skills – Provision and review of technical documentation and input into contract bid responses.
· Technical skills – competency in understanding complex technical issues and solutions and assessing impact across the company as a whole. Strong SQL skills and good understanding of SQL Server including SSIS and stored procedures. Understanding of hardware requirements for deployed products
· Creative problem solving – applying knowledge and experience in incident and problem management to support team members and other teams
