Salary: up to £40,000 depending on experience + benefits



Our client is a software development company that provides solutions to the healthcare IT market. Exciting times for the client as they are expanding their business and growing rapidly.

 

You will be working for a dedicated team involved in the handling of 4th line calls from the internal support team and getting involved with the troubleshooting, maintenance and development of our clients core web-based application and database.

 

This role will require experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with web application software that runs on-prem and within an Azure App Service environment.

 

The candidate will be familiar with .Net, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JS frameworks, Azure Services, Web API’s, T-SQL and is comfortable analysing code in Visual Studio for debugging and making changes to code to address issues, working closely with the core development team, QA and DevOps team.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has come from a technical support background with development experience who is looking for an opportunity to make a step into full time development support work with a focus on resolving and troubleshooting problems. The role will have many opportunities to be involved with core application development work and future opportunities to work with other teams and projects.

Experience & Skills Required:

 

·         Practical experience with C#, with an in-depth knowledge of the .NET framework

·         Experienced with using the Visual Studio development environment

·         An excellent understanding of web development concepts and technologies

·         ASP.Net MVC

·         XML and JSON

·         HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery

·         Angular / React

·         RESTful APIs

·         A good understanding of relational / transactional databases, SQL Server, SQL MI and/or SQL Azure

·         T-SQL

·         IIS

 

Advantageous but not essential:

 

·         Azure Services (Functions, Storage, App Service, API Management)

·         Messaging concepts at enterprise scale e.g. service bus, event hubs, MSMQ

·         Active Directory including Azure AD and Azure B2B / B2C

·         Integration Engines (BizTalk, Rhapsody)

·         Raven DB NOSQL Document DB

·         Healthcare software development

·         Knowledge of HL7 data and other healthcare messaging standards

·         Knowledge of ETL methodologies

 

Qualifications in one or more of the following:

 

·         A degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline

·         Microsoft certification in web development or Azure based certification

·         CompTIA certifications in networks
