Daily Rate: £250 to £300 per day



We are seeking a contract Power BI Analyst as part of a growing Population Health Analytics Team. You’ll be working within our clients population health team and using cutting edge Microsoft Azure technology to create dynamic analytics for use by health and care professionals within the NHS and care communities.

 

The focus of this post is to build data visualisations, perform in depth data analysis and answer questions on data for customers. The person will be required to take on a variety of analytical tasks using Power BI data visualisations and Microsoft SQL Server. We are seeking individuals with the enthusiasm and aptitude to providing solutions to complex problems.

 

The population health teamwork at the forefront of an exciting NHS transformation agenda, delivering key insights, using interactive dashboards, that allow health and care organisations to plan health and care services based true needs of the population. Our team has been supporting health and care organisations in the face of the current COVID pandemic, developing analytic solutions to help manage the crisis. The population health team are highly experienced and passionate about what they do; using technology to help

improve the health and care of the nation.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

·         Building easy to use data visualisations to customer requirements using Microsoft Power BI and SQL server

·         Perform second line support for analytical tools and use case dashboards

 

Experience (Required)

 

·         Microsoft Power BI expert in building visualisations and dashboards

·         Experience of using Microsoft SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries to select data for analysis

·         Experience of data validation and data interpretation

·         Good numerical skills and good attention to detail

·         Experience in translating requirements into analytics

 

Experience (Desirable)

 

·         Knowledge of NHS data sets and informatics currencies covering GP data sets, acute data sets including SUS data, community, mental health and social care

·         Knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps

·         Experience of handling of large data volumes such as data tables over a billion records

·         Knowledge of cloud environments and Microsoft Azure functionality

·         Experience knowledge of agile development methodologies
