Our client are one of the UK’s leading software providers of Shared Care and Health analytics solutions. A “Cloud First” organisation, they are one of Microsoft’s largest UK healthcare data customers with a variety of Azure services and technologies embedded across their suite of solutions. Their unprecedented growth over the last year has seen their test teams growing in number and they are seeking a talented individual to join their development team as a TechOps Consultant.
You will join an experienced and cross dimensional team operating under a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with access to a range of industry leading tools and plenty of opportunities to grow and increase your skillset.

The TechOps Team are responsible for the installation and support for all Technical Platforms, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems and associated products delivered to internal and external customers of our client.
The TechOps Consultant will work alongside specialists within the Team, taking responsibility for all aspects of the TechOps Team’s work. With emphasis on the Technical Services function, you will be managing and supporting the infrastructure upon which the Application Suite operates.
The TechOps Consultant will work closely with the Product Development, Deployment and Project Teams, ensuring that their comprehensive support service is maintained. The successful candidate will be provided with on-the-job training for all supported Platforms, Operating Systems, Databases and Applications, but is expected to have prior experience of Microsoft Azure, Networking and Windows Server Technologies.
Essentials:
· Excellent, demonstrable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Minimum of three years Windows Server Platform System Administration
· Experience of Networking Concepts, Topologies and Maintenance
· Experience of Service Monitoring and Alerting
· Microsoft Azure Management & Administration, including (but not limited to) Network (NSG, VLANs etc.), Storage, Analytics and Security
· Experience of routine Infrastructure Upgrades and Application Patching
· Demonstrable PowerShell Administration / Scripting skills
· Excellent

· Azure Monitor
· Azure Application Insights
· Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
· Docker
· Experience or exposure of Terraform IAC software tooling
· Failover Cluster Management
· Understanding of Grafana Analytics and Monitoring Solution
· Nessus Vulnerability Assessment Solution
· Ivanti Endpoint Patch Management
· SQL Server, SQL MI and NoSQL basic administration
· Knowledge of ITIL Foundation principles and application
· Knowledge of ISO27001, ISO27018 and ISO9001 Certification
· Any vendor certifications
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provision of first-class support to customers and systems for all Managed Service Platforms
· Provision of help, advice and support to other members of the Team and Company
· Management and Pro-Active Monitoring of our Azure Cloud footprint
· Management and Support of network components for all Managed Service Platforms
· Implementation of Application Patching and System Upgrades
· Adherence to Company and Team Policies and Working Practices
· Involvement in office-cover rota, between 08:00 and 18:00, with commitment to work outside of these hours when required
· Eventual participation in the 24x7 On-Call Rota
