Salary: up to £50,000 depending on experience
The HR Business Partner will support the Divisional HR Director and the Chief HR Officer and work in partnership with all areas of the business to provide specialist coaching, support and influence that enable key clients to effectively deliver their people plans. Provide a business partnering service that delivers HR best practice and commercially focused HR solutions that support the business area in conjunction with specialist HR functions.
The HR Business Partner should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working as a HR professional with at least 2 years working with a leadership level on a consultative and partnering basis. They should have experience of advising managers on a range of people matters (e.g. discipline, grievance, performance management, sickness absence, recruitment, etc) and have experience of implementing new initiatives and rolling out new ways of working.
The HR Business Partner must:
· Be a team player and have a proactive and can-do attitude
· Have an excellent ability to deal with working under pressure
· Have excellent communication skills – written and verbal
· Have good facilitation and presentation skills
· Have excellent knowledge of MS Office particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Have excellent standard of written and verbal English
· Have excellent knowledge and understanding of employment law
· Be commercially and financially astute
· Have the ability to establish effective relationships
· Collaborate, persuade and influence
The following skills are desirable:
· CIPD qualified, Member status
· Ideally have operated in a multisite HR role
· Displays confidence and has an inquisitive manner
· Displays an openness to new ideas and different ways of working
The HR Advisor is responsible for the following:
· Work closely with Directors and Managers and advise on ER case works, strategic/change processes such as restructures etc.
· Work with the business area to translate HR strategy into clear objectives that are aligned to the future needs and future goals of the business area in order to provide accurate and timely support that enables them to achieve their goals
· Work alongside with HR colleagues, key stakeholders and leaders in order to provide tailored best practice solutions to business issues
· Provide high quality consistent advice and to act as a trusted business partner to build a reputation as a credible, professional and flexible HR specialist
· Deal with complex and sensitive day to day people management issues
· Leading HR Initiatives as required by the business area
· Implementing HR initiatives and advising, guiding and supporting all employees and managers in the business
· Providing high level people management and development support across the group
· Analyse and provide key stakeholders with accurate management information and reporting
· Supporting the HR Shared Service Team with employee queries, being first point of contact for HR queries, escalating to the Divisional HR Director when necessary, dealing with policy and procedure related queries
· To collate and report on HR management information including headcount, absence and turnover
· To assist with the implementation of HR policies, processes and procedures
· To manage employee training, ensuring that the policy and process is followed
· To generate HR correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
· To work closely with the HR Administrators & HR Assistants and provide cover in the event of absence
· To support HR Projects where applicable

· Effectively communicate and support other members within the post holder’s team

· This role involves working with and managing the relationships with external suppliers and agencies, partners and customers
