Salary: up to £24,000



Our clients group of companies are looking for a HR Graduate to join their HR Team on a full-time basis. The HR Graduate will report to the Chief HR Officer and will work closely with the wider HR Team, particularly with HR Advisors, to provide assistance in implementing HR initiatives and projects. The initial focus of the role will be assisting with ongoing talent and development initiatives, as the alliance continues to grow.

 

The HR team is based out of Maidstone. However, this role will be required to travel, on occasion, to sister offices in Canterbury and Milton Keynes.

 

Skills & Experience:

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree (Business, HR, Psychology, Marketing subjects would be desirable but not essential)

·         Excellent administrative skills using MS office products

·         Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recording/reporting

·         Requirement to work with confidential and sensitive information

·         Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

·         Excellent organisational, interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

·         Strong communication skills are essential, both written and oral, as you will be engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

This will be a dynamic role, which will adapt to both department and organisational priorities. Therefore, it will provide an excellent opportunity to get involved in a full range of HR Projects and domains. Including but not limited to:

 

Initial focus areas:

 

Training & Development

 

·         Supporting HR Advisor on the implementation and logistical planning of an Early Careers Programme

·         Assisting with the research into training partnerships, assessment centres and pathways

·         Updating HR System with training requests, providing timely updates and reports to HR Advisors and HR Assistants

 

Onboarding

 

·         Supporting induction management – including check ins with new starters, right to work checks, document audits

·         Pulling together materials across departments to bolster the first week training plan

 

Other general HR areas, in which you will gain exposure:

 

Recruitment

 

·         Rebranding JDs

·         Ad hoc assistance for the wider HR team where necessary, including completing employment offer packs, scheduling interviews, cover for recruitment in the event of absence or annual leave

 

HR System Management

·         Creating new accounts and inputting employee data into BreatheHR

·         Ensuring employee records are up to date and maintained on our HR system

 

Employee relations

 

·         Supporting HR Advisors with employee queries, escalating where necessary

·         Generating HR correspondence to internal and external stakeholders

 

General HR

 

·         To collate HR reports on headcount

·         To assist with the implementation of HR policies, processes and procedures

·         To work closely with the HR Co-ordinators & HR Assistants and provide cover in the event of absence

·         To support HR Projects where applicable
