Salary: £20,000 to £24,000
With the digital aspect of marketing being more fundamental than ever before, and integral to both marketing and business growth strategies our client are looking to expand their digital team.
Reporting directly into the Digital Marketing Manager this role will work across all sector and service lines to support the digital teams delivery of their core strategic targets and meet the overall firm’s business objectives and to ensure they are constantly evolving and ensuring best practice.
The Digital Marketing Assistant role will support the planning, creation and execution of campaigns across all company digital marketing channels which target existing and prospective clients. As part of the digital marketing team, this role will also be responsible for the planning and publishing of content for both the company and all social media channels and websites.
This is an exciting new opportunity for someone to work alongside digital specialists to grow their knowledge and develop their own area of expertise.
Qualification and Skills
· Degree qualified in Marketing or a relatable professional experience
· Marketing background – minimum 1 year experience in digital marketing or general marketing
· Social media marketing experience - LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
· Graphic design experience, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (beneficial but not essential)
· Good communication
· Numerate
· IT literate
· Good organisational and prioritisation skills
· Strong relationship building skills
· Experience within professional services is preferred, but not essential
Key Responsibilities
· Working with the company, service and sector focused groups to support the digital team with digital marketing initiatives to support the firm’s business objectives
· Working with all members of the marketing team to support with the delivery of digital campaigns which offer a mix of interesting and sustained touchpoints for prospects and clients
· Monitoring, analysis and reporting on effectiveness of digital campaigns and channels to sector/service leads and the wider organization
· Co-ordinating the content upload to the companies websites
· Creation, scheduling and publication of posts on the company social media channels
· Supporting the marketing and digital team with the delivery of national thought leadership campaigns such as annual Budget announcements, Brexit and COVID
· Everyday recording and distribution of website enquiries from the company UK websites to the Business Development team and coordinating Partner follow-up
· Producing digital benchmarking and campaign ROI reports for delivery to senior leadership and sector/service leads
· Monitoring online competitor activity and the creation of benchmark reports for both online and social media
· Working with the Careers team and Digital Marketing Manager with uploading new job opportunities and content to the Career Site and planning supporting promotional activity
· Creating and distributing a weekly social media snapshot to Partners and the wider organisation
· Managing an annual awareness days calendar and to be a digital champion for offices and staff led content around wellbeing, charitable activity and national awareness days
· Supporting the creation of multimedia content such as videos, podcasts and infographics
· Supporting the production and management of webinar and client feedback surveys using SurveyMonkey
· Working with global counterparts to support key global campaigns and initiatives
· Supporting Partners with the creation of marketing collateral such as Focus on Sheets, Insight documents and PowerPoints
· Supporting with some technical aspects of running webinars and recording of them
· Supporting with data cleansing exercises to ensure ultimate strength and accuracy of digital campaigns
