My client, a successful logistics company are seeking a Customer Services Administrator to provide an effective and efficient service to their customers through completion of customer bookings, resolution of queries and other tasks required to meet customer requirements.
Skills and experience
· Experience of dealing with customer queries and problem solving
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Experience of working within a busy office environment
· Strong Microsoft Office skills - particularly excel
· Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
· Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization as well as clients
· Previous experience in the logistics background would be a bonus
· Strong organisational skills with a good attention to detail
· Flexible, reliable and conscientious
Duties
· Effectively responding to customers in a timely and professional manner using both email and telephone
· Dealing with customer queries about deliveries and collections
· Ensure that all all-relevant reports are sent to the customer the following morning at the agreed times
· Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, acting as the key customer contact for delivery / Pod queries
· Effectively investigate customer queries in relation to orders, deliveries or collections undertaking appropriate root cause analysis and a problem-solving approach to identify and resolve issues
· Escalating potential contentious or disputed issues to the Line Manager /stakeholder at the earliest opportunity.
· Raising any perceived or actual problems with line manager at the earliest opportunity to effect timely resolution
· To ensure all customer records and spreadsheets are updated and shared in accordance with departmental procedures
· To share best practice with all members of the Customer Service team to ensure where possible all procedures are operated consistently
· Subject to training, support other members of the team \ contracts as necessary to ensure that all customers receive the same level of service
· Build and sustain a good working relationship with all stakeholders, ensuring a professional standard of communication in a timely manner, building trust confidence
· Using problem solving and continuous improvement techniques, constantly look for procedural improvement that will drive efficiency or customer satisfaction
