Salary: up to £300.00 per day



Our client are looking for a talented and experienced product / business analyst with a flair for picking up and understanding business needs quickly. You will work alongside customers and internal teams spanning architects, developers, and product specialists, to determine the scope and requirements for the product ultimately informing its re-design.

 

In this exciting role you will be part of a new development team tasked with rebuilding this product using the latest Azure technologies. Taking a hands-on role, you will be instrumental in capturing both technical requirements and business processes to ensure the re-design and re-development continues the success of this market leading web-based product.

 

Our client are the market leader in their field and have a significant market share within England and therefore this role is high profile for the success of the product going forward.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Carry out analysis of existing product/s to capture

o Software requirements

o Business process flows

o Data requirements – statutory and product enhancing

o Configuration required to allow operational variances

o System or service integration needs

·         Build an understanding of the existing platform capabilities and utilise these where appropriate in designs

·         Participate in and lead product design reviews to define the “to be” implementation

·         Work with the development team to provide feedback and recommendations throughout the build process

·         Build an understanding the market need of the software and the competitor landscape

·         Collaborate with customers to capture processes, validate requirements, and assess change requests

·         Create, review and update documentation to ensure it reflects the new state

·         Any other activities in support of the business which can reasonably be expected to fall within the capabilities of the employee

 

Skills and Experience:

 

·         Solid experience in a Business/Product Analyst role with a demonstrable understanding of Azure services and technologies

·         Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills

·         Ability to communicate complex and technical details both written and verbally

·         Self-motivated with good organisational, time management and planning skills

·         Persuasive and credible in a customer liaison context

·         Worked as a ‘T’ shaped team member for the overall benefit of the business

·         Experience working on tech/software re-design projects

·         Willingness to travel to either a company office or customer site

Location: Homebased – Although this role is remote there may be a need to travel to  offices and customer site which are UK wide. The main office is Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire
