Salary: £23,100 per annum



My client is seeking a Finance Administrator for their site in Ridgmont, Bedfordshire and they are working to become the world’s preferred company in their industry. The role would suit someone who has worked in a team processing invoices, carrying out reconciliation work (credit card) and providing monthly reports on activity and performance.

 

What skills will you already have:

 

·         Proven experience within Finance – we are looking for candidates with 6 months to 2 years’ experience in accounts payable OR as a finance administrator – if you have studied AAT and looking for your first role then this role may well be suitable

·         Good team working skills with a commitment to working proactively and reactively

·         Strong and accurate attention to detail

·         Ability to prioritise and show initiative

·         Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel skills

·         Good communication (written and verbal) skills

·         Ability to follow procedure and complete all work to a high standard

·         Ability to communicate with stakeholders on all levels

·         Experience within Logistics would be an advantage but not essential

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

·         Maintaining data and records for audit purposes

·         Raising Purchase Orders

·         Credit card reconciliation

·         Help drive to improve current department accounts process and assist in providing monthly ad hoc KPI reports on both activity and performance

·         Maintain integrity particularly with regard to financial policies, procedures and external standards and regulations.

·         Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in the Admin function

·         Other ad hoc duties as required
