Salary: up to £37,000
In order to be successful in this role, you will need either to have prior experience in Healthcare with experience in hospital pharmacy, bespoke products or in ePrescribing and or pharmacy IT.
Alternatively you will need to be a certified software tester (ISTQB) with at least 5 years testing experience in the same or a similar domain.
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled team, testing new functionality as well as enhancements to the current product. Candidates should possess the ability to work independently, although teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.
About you
EITHER:
You will be a pharmacist/pharmacy technician who would like to move to the IT sector in a testing role. Our client are willing to train and develop QC testing skills/experience with sponsorship to gain an ISTQB formal qualification.
OR
You will be an experienced tester that is certified (ISTQB) and has worked in the same or a similar domain. Product training will be delivered but you will need to be a quick learner and able to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
You will need to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail together with analytical thinking and the ability to deal rapidly and effectively with complex issues. Experience in using ePrescribing products is preferred but training will be offered to suitable candidates. Quality Control experience and skills in using automated testing tools would be advantageous. Understanding and prior use of JIRA and Confluence would also be beneficial.

Location: Basildon, Essex – Office based – Consideration will be given for homeworking up to 2 days a week once initial training is complete. Driving Licence required.
