Salary: £30,000 to £36,000 DOE + 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), company vehicle, a fuel card, credit card for expenses, uniform, mobile phone, and pension
Our client is a small, independent family run business that has a traditional and loyal customer base.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Technician to join their dedicated team. Most sites are small local businesses in the Bucks and London corridor, predominantly a service-based role with small works, fault finding and / or commissioning.
This is an exciting role for a technician to grow and or maintain their knowledge and experience in the industry
Experience required:
· 3-5 years, preferably, 1st and 2nd fix
· Commissioning of Open Protocols/Conventional
· Financial awareness
· Able to work unsupervised
· Extinguisher Servicing experience is beneficial but not essential
Main duties include:
· Servicing, installation & repair of fire alarm systems to relevant standards
· Work to pre-planned schedule which will be arranged for you
· Complete site surveys where required
· A working knowledge of BS5839 necessary
· Be on the monthly on-call rota to attend in hours and out of hours call outs
· Servicing & maintenance of emergency lighting
· Offer the highest standards of customer service
· Maintain up to date product knowledge
· Complete report sheets
· Ensure adequate stock levels on your van are always maintained

Job Location: The client is based in Buckingham, however, you could be based within a 1.5-hour commute of the office
Salary: £30,000 to £36,000 DOE + 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), company vehicle, a fuel card, credit card for expenses, uniform, mobile phone, and pension
Hours of Work: Standard hours are 9am to 5pm, however there is a call out rota for the fire alarms for which you are given a standby fee, and if you are called out after hours then you are paid time and a half for Monday – Saturday, double time on a Sunday or bank holidays.
