A Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE Management Accountant with strong reconciliation and MS Excel skills is required for our client, a premium brand set for a period of growth with new product introductions adding to its status.
As Management Accountant, you will work in a diverse and exciting team with a mixture of levels of qualification and the opportunity to support more junior members of the team.
In the role you will be involved in sales reporting, sales related accruals / adjustments, inventory reconciliations, reviewing accruals, fixed assets, pre-payments, quarterly reporting to Japan, trial balance at month end, stock and warranty provisions et al.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summary:
Assist the Financial Controller with the production of the Management Accounts, providing timely and accurate record keeping all in accordance with the accounting policies and procedures. The role will include a wide variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, undertaking financial reporting, analysis, and interpretation in line with the business timetable and demand.
Specifically:
Inventory & Sales
· Tracking of goods in transit
· Reconciling stock levels between WMS & NAV
· Freight and inventory accruals
· Reconciling of MIS statements to Ledger and producing GIT accrual
· Revenue accruals
· Revenue recognition adjustments
· Accounting for company store
Management Accounts
· Calculation of branch commission and recharges
· Overseeing the accounting for IFRS16 leases
· Assisting with calculating warranty & stock provisions
· Updating TB and producing financial statements
· Completion of Financial highlights data
· Revaluation of ledgers
· Assisting with branch accounting
· Reviewing Fixed assets, accruals & prepayments
· Signing off bank reconciliations
· Intercompany staff recharges
Cashflow
· Assist with the production of the consolidated European cashflow forecast
· Use BI reporting tool to improve current process
Audit & Report Reporting
· A key part of the annual external audit
· Provide files for quarterly audits
· Assist with the production of the company-only accounts in accordance with IFRS
· Quarterly DIVA reporting and responding to queries
Skills required
· Qualified or part-qualified Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) preferable

· Accomplished in presenting technical information to non-financial professionals at all levels, in an engaging and audience-focused manner
· Strong Excel skills – Essential
· Multi-currency experience – Desirable

Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Hybrid role – 3 days in Theale, Reading and 2 days at home
Annual Salary: Salary negotiable + contributory pension, parking, private healthcare, staff loans, discount on products, death in service, 20 days + 8 bank holidays + 3 days of between Christmas and New Year and 1 day for birthday
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm
