DESIRED EXPERIENCE



·         Previous experience in a Data Analyst role (3 years+ preferable)



·         Strong SQL and Data Modelling skills (essential)



·         Experience with one or more data visualisation tools such as Tableau, AWS, QuickSight, Power BI



·         SSRS (essential)



·         Direct customer communication experience



·         Interpret data and translate into insights and present to customers and stakeholders (essential)



·         Ability to use data to prove root cause and drive decision making



·         Critical thinking, problem solving and solution focussed



·         Ability to quickly prototype dashboards using Excel



·         Excel including pivot tables and v-lookups (expert)



·         PowerPoint (expert)



·         Methodical, principled, inclusive and tolerant in your approach while being adaptable to suit the situation and needs of the customer



·         Devoted to supporting your colleagues and our customers as well as completing an objective



·         High attention to detail - not afraid to analyse further and ask questions where there is ambiguity



·         Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks depending on company and customer priorities



·         Skilled in managing and communicating risks, blockers and contingency planning



·         Ability to work and make decisions under pressure utilising quick to act forcefulness and persuasiveness skills where appropriate



·         Skilled in using MS Office software Jira and Confluence



ROLE SUMMARY



·         As a Data Analyst in the Operational Excellence team, you will champion data-driven decision making, working with the Customer Success Project Managers, Engineering and Data Services teams to analyse operational data to support customer reported issues or queries regarding company data products and technology.



·         You will provide structured analysis of issues, recognise common trends and identify problems, while interpreting and articulating the findings in the context of the customer and business needs.



·         As well as having the technical capability to analyse data from multiple sources, and in multiple formats, you must be able to communicate with colleagues and customers to work through the issues raised and make recommendations for next steps.



·         You will report into Operational Excellence team in Operations, working closely with Project and Delivery Managers, and you will be supported by our Data Services team to gain training and access on our data sets. You will be part of our analytics community, working together to find innovative ways to analyse our data, and make recommendations for improvement to improve our services.



·         You will work across all areas of the company, so there is no shortage of opportunities to make an impact. Areas you may work on include analysing digital behaviour data to understand trends and improve quality to meet customer needs, analysing trends of customer reports on panellist experience of our technology, and analysing the performance of our technology compatibility with devices and OS systems.

Job Title: Operations Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid / Trafford Park, Manchester – once a week in the office, living within easy commute as could be called in to the office out of the blue – Please note, if successful, induction would be office based for three days
