Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 DOE + Car Allowance, Pension, Parking, Healthcare
As a Bid Writer, you will work under the supervision of a Bid Manager and will assist them in developing a proposal structure.
The role also requires reviewing and editing previously written content where necessary, working with other bid team members to produce written bid responses and presentation collateral in line with deadlines.
The role will involve writing content for use in the bid, and also presentations and all supporting documentation, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach.
The current team consists of 2, this is scheduled to increase to 4/5.
Initial training will be office based, full-time.
Essential Qualifications
· Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent qualification. Candidates without this level of education may be considered if you can demonstrate suitable work experience
· Full Driving License
Desirable Qualifications
· Professional Qualification such as MICE, MCIOB, MRICS, RIBA or APMP
Candidate background / experience
· Proven ability to write effective concise and compelling content
· Technical writing skills displaying creative flair in submissions
· Excellent attention to detail and meticulous planning and organizational skills
· Ability to obtain accurate high-quality information from all bid stakeholders in order to produce bid collateral
· Able to work to tight deadlines in high pressured situations associated with deadlines
· Excellent communicator with a strong command of spoken and written English
· Good communication skills (verbal and written) and able to engage with all stakeholders at all levels
· Team player with ability to help give team members the necessary skills and confidence to write and produce materials themselves
· Self-motivated. Capable of working under minimal supervision and on own initiative.
· Flexible approach to working hours
· Good IT skills
· A high attention to detail with an excellent editing and proofing ability Technical Specification Experience Required

Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and database software.
Job Title: Bid Writer in Construction
Location: Enfield – 3 days in Enfield, 2 days from home - A full driving licence is required
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 DOE + Car Allowance, Pension, Parking, Healthcare
Hours of Work: 45 per week – Monday to Friday only
