The HR Manager will report to the Managing Director and must have a L&D and Recruitment background. You will have one direct report, the assistant HR Manager, so you will be pivotal in the development of them and be involved in succession planning, working as a business partner to the senior management team.
The client is a premiere luxury retail destination and was founded over two decades ago and is a family run business.
Key areas of responsibility:
· Overall responsibility and accountability of the HR Function
· Work in close partnership with Directors, Senior Management and Heads of Department to prepare and implement HR strategy
· Recruitment, Selection and Induction
· Training and Development
· Develop and maintain HR policies
· Build a strong relationship with internal and external clients
· Act as the externally facing representative for HR for the business

· Strong influential communication skills
Who we need:
· Proven HR generalist experience on both strategic and operational level
· Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law
· Ability to work autonomously
· Excellent people manager with experience of motivational management skills including coaching & development
