Working on ERP Change Programme’s in previous roles is ESSENTIAL!

 

We are looking for an experienced Communications and Engagement Lead to join the team for an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Change Programme. The Communications and Engagement Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy, approach and plan to support the ERP change programme, incorporating and aligned to business as usual. This is a critical role that requires excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, project and change management experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross- functional teams.

 

This is a senior consultant role – they have AC/C/SC/MC/PC, so this role will sit in the middle. It is a sole contributor role so you will not be managing anyone. You will work with 7 people in the change team.

 

Must Haves

 

·         Bachelor's degree in Communications/ Marketing/ Business Administration or a related field or considerable experience and related professional qualifications

·         Proven experience in developing and implementing successful communications and engagement strategies for large-scale change programmes

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for a variety of audiences and channels

·         Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

·         Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

·         Experience in using a range of communication channels and tools including intranet events and video production

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address stakeholder concerns and adjust communication strategies accordingly. An inclusivity role model with strong team management development and mentoring skills

·         Familiarity with ERP systems and PROSCI change management is a plus

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy, approach and plan that effectively communicates the objectives, benefits, and impacts of the ERP change programme to all stakeholders.

·         Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify key stakeholders, their need and concerns, and develop tailored communication strategies to address them.

·         Develop and manage a range of communication channels, including email, intranet and events, to ensure stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the ERP change programme.

·         Manage, develop, create and deliver engaging and informative content, including presentations, newsletters, videos, and FAQs, to support the communication and engagement plan.

·         Develop and implement an engagement plan that understands the wider business activities and encourages stakeholder participation in the ERP change programme, including readiness, training, workshops, and feedback sessions.

·         Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the communications and engagement plan, and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure maximum engagement and participation from stakeholders.

·         Manage and liaise with external partners, including communications agencies and vendors, to ensure the delivery of high-quality communication materials and events.
