The Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator will be part of the estates and events team and report to the Facilities Manager & Associates Director of Events at this busy, multiple-business site near Bicester.
The role would suit someone who has had previous responsibility for logistical set-up requirements for events including waste management, site cleaning and maintenance – You would also be point of contact for specialists and clients as “Duty Manager”.
Person specification:
· Experience of working outdoors in either facilities or events
· Highly organised and able to multitask under pressure
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Fantastic attention to detail
· Able to adjust to last minute tasks and requests from clients and specialists
· Seeks clarification to ensure comprehension and not afraid to ask questions
· Able to work with minimum supervision
· Stamina and ability to undertake some physically demanding tasks
· Pragmatic approach to problem solving
· Enjoys taking ownership and delivering results
· Willing to be trained in using estate vehicles
· Interest in vintage, classic cars (advantageous)
Responsibilities:
· Deliver the logistical requirements for the Events & Track calendar in conjunction with the team/ensuring it’s efficient operation and timely communication
· Ensuring the facilities are clean/ready and set up for Events and maintained for the duration of the event
· Ensuring maintenance duties are carried out as required Thursday – Monday including but limited to waste management/site cleanse/general maintenance
· Be the first point of contact over duty weekends for Events clients and specialists on site for any issues and problem resolution
· To ensure breakdown of events is completed in line with venue and client requirements.
· To review processes to refine and ensure efficiencies

Job Title: Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire – A current driving licence is required for this role
Salary: £30,000 – if you are currently on more than this then do apply, it is important to find the right candidate for the position
Hours of Work: Thursday to Monday (Typically 9.00am to 5.30pm) but of course, some flexibility may be required around these hours. You will not work Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
