Salary: £23,000



A FULL DBS check will be required prior to you starting the role.

 

Our client is a supplier of clinical system solutions to their patients homes in the Cheshire / Merseyside area of the UK.

 

You will be trainedto install the appropriate Android and iOS-based technology in patient’s properties and deliver the appropriate training to the patient in their home or care home.

 

You will also be required to deliver stock and training to clinicians.

 

About you

 

·         Would suit a person with an IT background either in a commercial or academic (IT Graduate) environment

·         Excellent face to face, customer service skills

·         Confidence in the use of Android and / or iOS-based technology

·         Full clean driving licence and own car

·         Gather information / listen to feedback to support the growth and development of the company products / services

 

Typical service visit tasks are:

 

·         Setting up equipment in patients’ home/care home

·         Delivery of equipment to hospital virtual ward teams

·         Training the use of equipment and relevant peripherals to patients and clinicians (BP monitor, SPO2 Oximeter, Scales, Thermometer etc)

·         Tracking location and status of stock through relevant IT systems

·         Basic service calls for routine issues

·         Maintenance of Software and Hardware supporting upgrades and ongoing development.

 

Stock Management

 

·         You will manage your own car stock.

·         You will require your own vehicle and a full, clean UK driving licence to complete installations and deliveries. Mileage will be claimed at prevailing HMRC tax free rates (currently 45p per mile for the first 10,000miles, 25p per mile thereafter in each tax year).

 

Product Development

 

·         As a technology company they are constantly developing new and existing products for both Hardware and Software. You will be expected to report patient, clinician and employee feedback ongoing to support such developments.

 

Overview

 

·         You will be the face-to-face contact of the company with patients / users and so should have the necessary skills to maintain a warm friendly atmosphere.

·         You will be expected to work with a “get the job done” attitude to meet the demands of contractual SLA’s. Patient availability may result in different combinations of hours typically between 8am and 8pm.

·         You will be required to undergo a full disclosure and barring service (DBS) check before commencement of employment.



Job Title: IT Field Technician

Location: Liverpool – You MUST be a driver and own your own car and a FULL CLEAN UK driving licence to complete installations and deliveries – Mileage claimable (£0.45p per mile for 1st 10,000 miles, £0.25 thereafter in each tax year) - The role will be based in the Cheshire & Merseyside region, activities will be predominantly in Cheshire, their base operations are located in Liverpool.

Salary: £23,000

Hours of Work: 5 out of 7 days over a Monday to Sunday rota – 7.5 hours a day between the hours of 8.00am to 8.00pm (37.5-hour week) – it is likely you will work alternate weekends
