Salary: £48,000 to £50,000 + 7.5% employer pension contribution, salary sacrifice 3%, 30 days annual leave plus public holidays. Opportunities for tickets to events as intertwined with VisitLondon and Discount tickets from partnering organisations.
Due to company growth and expansion, our client, a business growth and destination agency for London are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join their team of 14 employees (1 executive underneath you). You will work closely with the small business team and will report to the Head of Business Marketing.
Skills & Competencies
· Deep and broad B2B marketing skills and experience ideally with small and medium enterprises
· Ability to lead creative, integrated business marketing campaigns across multiple channels with demonstrable results
· Management of significant marketing budgets and agency relationships
· Excellent leadership and positive influencing skills
· Data-led and results driven, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Experience working in an agile marketing environment and as part of matrix project teams
· Takes responsibility and ownership of projects and tasks, continuously aiming to improve own performance
· Strong presentation and negotiation skills
· Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
· Procurement and budgeting
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and CRM e.g. Salesforce
· Competence with performance monitoring tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite
· Commitment to continuous learning
· Adopts a flexible approach and remains productive in ambiguous and fast changing environments
Purpose of role
· Develop and deliver a marketing and communication strategy, using a data-led approach
· You will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment to lead impactful marketing online and off
· You will line manage a marketing executive
· You will utilise resources efficiently to deliver target outcomes
· You will engage target audiences, including those that are harder to reach
· As part of a business marketing team, you will have access to specialist support, skills and personal development. Your primary stakeholder will be Head of Customer Engagement within the Small Business team
· L&P’s in-house capabilities include design, content, social, email, CRM, analytics and web dev
· You will source and manage external agencies for larger paid media campaigns and other services where needed
Key tasks
· Develop and deliver a marketing and communication strategy working with the Small Business team
· Procure and manage marketing agency relationship/s with an estimated six-figure annual budget
· Line management
· Work with stakeholders to create high impact messaging and collateral outlining the strengths of the programmes, taking an audience-led approach
· Sign-off all marketing materials to ensure fit for purpose and on brand
· Manage external suppliers to develop and maintain the businesshub.london website (or other digital platform)
· Develop and deliver the London Borough engagement plan working closely with the Programme Lead
· Work with comms team on any press releases or other PR activity as agreed
· Oversee production and distribution of marketing toolkits and social media calendars to stakeholders and multipliers
· Own day-to-day delivery of social media and email marketing
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting against marketing KPIs, ideally via real-time dashboards
· Attend local events as required
· Business planning and budget management
· Track communication and activity using CRM (Salesforce is their CRM) as required
· Integrate .LONDON (Dot London Domains) where it makes sense to drive revenue for L&P
· Raise awareness of the Wayfinder service within L&P
· Any other reasonable duties allocated by line manager
Senior Marketing Manager, Small Business
Hybrid role– 2 days in the London office (Southwark / Borough stations are near) one of which MUST be Wednesday, the other 3 days can be from home.
