Salary: up to £38,000
Our client is a “Cloud First” organisation, and they are one of Microsoft’s largest UK healthcare data customers with a variety of Azure services and technologies embedded across their suite of solutions.
The Internal Technical Services (ITS) Team are responsible for the installation and support for all Technical Platforms, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems and associated products delivered internally.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the IT Engineer will work alongside specialists within the Team, taking responsibility for all aspects of the ITS Team’s work. With emphasis on the Technical Services function, you will be managing and supporting the infrastructure upon which the organisation operates, with the opportunity to be involved in new and emerging projects from their inception.
The IT Engineer will work closely with the numerous departments that comprise the company, ensuring that the comprehensive support service is maintained and therefore sustaining the strong inter-departmental relationships that have been forged to date.
The successful candidate will be provided with on-the-job training for all supported Platforms, Operating Systems, Databases and Applications, but is expected to have prior experience of Microsoft Azure, Networking and Windows Server Technologies. Access to key learning resources will also be made available to the successful candidate, via our well-established Microsoft Partnership.

Basic Requirements:
· Provision of first-class advice and support to customers and Team Members within the Company
· Management and Pro-Active Monitoring of our infrastructure
· Management and Support of Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management for devices and applications
· Management and Support of network components for all Managed Service Platforms
· Implementation of Application Patching and System Upgrades
· Adherence to Company & Team Policies and Working Practices
Skills & Experience:
Essentials:
· Minimum of three years in a Technical Support or Engineer-based Role
· Windows Server Platform System Administration

Participation in the following rotas with commitment to work outside of these hours if required: An Office-Cover Rota, between 08:00 and 18:00 and an On-Call Rota, between 18:00 and 08:00
