Great opportunity to join our clients training team as SHE Advisor at this multi-disciplinary contracting business.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should hold a minimum NEBOSH Certificate or Environmental equivalent. In addition to:
· Associate / Tech / Grad Member of IOSH or IEMA membership
· Experience, knowledge and understanding of the application of SHE management principles and best practice within an operational environment
· Proven track record of engaging effectively with stakeholders in SHE matters and requirements
· Experience of developing and improving processes, and driving SHE performance
· We would ideally want you to come from a Rail, Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a DNO background
· Excellent IT skills with experience in using Teams, Excel and Databases.
· You will have a professional approach, be self-organised and motivated to positively influence stakeholders.
· Willingness to challenge unsatisfactory conditions or breaches.

As a key member of the SHE Team you will be responsible for:
· Monitoring SHE performance at Regional and Depot level. Reporting to Operational Management on good performance / best practice as well as deficiencies and areas of weakness identified.
· Provision of key support with regards to the development and implementation of improvement actions, initiatives, and plans.
· Assisting in the management of the company’s environmental responsibilities in compliance with environmental requirements.
· Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and sharing lessons learned.
· Ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety Legislation/CDM Regs/Client’s standards.
In addition, you will be a key stakeholder to our Business Unit and Project Management Teams in ensuring all SHE risks are identified and managed throughout all phases of project development, construction and maintenance.
