Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience





Our client is a “Cloud First” organisation, and they are one of Microsoft’s largest UK healthcare data customers with a variety of Azure services and technologies embedded across their suite of solutions. We are seeking a talented individual to join our QA team as a C# Automation Test Analyst, specialising in system integration testing.

 

You will join an experienced and cross dimensional team operating under a Scaled Agile framework, with access to a range of industry leading tools and platforms.

The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate 4+ years of practical experience working within automation-oriented roles with C#, with a particular focus on system integration level testing. Key responsibilities include co-ordinating, planning and executing automation testing activities for our key azure-based projects.

Knowledge of Health Care systems would be beneficial but not essential.

 

Key Responsibilities / Requirements

 

·         Practical experience in automated testing using C# (minimum 4+ years’ experience).

·         Hands on testing experience using MS Azure technologies.

·         Experience in automating system integration testing.

·         Experience of automating front-end and back end (microservices) using Selenium WebDriver / RestSharp.

·         Solid understanding of .Net Core, NUnit, and Visual Studio.

·         An understanding of SQL and relational databases.

·         Experience of working with structured data (Understanding of XML, JSON etc.).

·         Experience in maintaining and enhancing existing automated test plans / scripts.

·         Experience in design, implementation, and execution of Non-functional testing (load, performance, volume, stress and scalability tests) using industry standard tools.

·         Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks and recommending performance optimisations.

·         Experience of using Continuous Integration tools such as Azure DevOps.

·         Experience in creating/modifying test data.

·         Performing occasional manual testing (Functional/Non-Functional) to support other teams during busy periods and contributing to test case design/implementation.

·         Good root cause analysis and collaboration skills for finding and resolving defects with developers.

 

 

Professional Qualifications:

 

·         ISEB/ISTQB qualifications (desirable)

·         Computing/IT related Bachelor’s Degree (desirable)
