Our client is a cutting-edge software company, headquartered in the US, specializing in global payments, payroll, and Employer of Record (EOR) solutions.

 

Our client’s software empowers global organizations to efficiently manage their workforce across multiple countries while seamlessly executing payroll processes.

 

We are seeking a dedicated a specialist with a strong background in compliance, policy development, and knowledge of GDPR. This role is crucial in supporting our clients’ adherence to global regulations and licensing requirements for payment technology, ensuring seamless operations in today’s complex international business environment.

 

Requirements:

 

·         5+ years of experience in compliance management, data protection, and enterprise risk management within a multinational company

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Compliance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·         Proven experience in compliance management, with a focus on GDPR and international labour laws.

·         Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is highly desirable.

·         In-depth knowledge of licensing requirements for payment technology and payroll.

·         Strong policy development and implementation skills.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·         Previous experience within a scale-up, Payroll and HR knowledge.

·         Professional proficiency in English (business language) is a must.

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Team player in a fast-paced and diverse high-performance culture.

·         Remote within the UK or Ireland.

·         Signing an NDA is an essential requirement.

 

The Role

 

In this role you will be ensuring the company follows all the rules and laws related to personal information, data protection, and money transactions. You will provide business-oriented, strategic support covering all compliance, data protection, and enterprise risk management aspects.

 

Here is a breakdown of the Tasks you will be doing:

 

Compliance Expertise:

 

·         Serve as the in-house authority on GDPR and other global compliance regulations.

·         Monitor and interpret changes in international labour laws and regulatory requirements.

 

Certification and Compliance Management:

 

·         Maintain and update compliance certifications to ensure adherence to industry standards.

·         Provide guidance on compliance strategies and best practices for clients.

 

Licensing Requirements:

 

·         Stay up-to-date with licensing requirements for payment technology across various jurisdictions.

·         Advise clients on necessary licenses and permits for their specific operations.

 

Policy Development:

 

·         Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures tailored to each client’s unique needs.

·         Provide ongoing support and guidance in policy enforcement and updates.

 

Client Consultation:

 

·         Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on compliance-related matters.

·         Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for maintaining legal and regulatory compliance.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

 

·         Work closely with the technical and operational teams to ensure compliance is integrated into software functionalities.

·         Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to stay aligned with evolving global standards.
