Requirements:
Good understanding of Word and Excel
3 years 3d modelling experience preferably Autodesk Inventor (If not Solidworks or any other industry standards)
Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D)
Health and safety aware
Main objective:
To produce engineering solutions to enable the company to produce its product range to customer specifications.
Work with Sales, Quality, Purchasing and Production departments to provide technical support as needed for them to perform their role within the company.
Responsibilities:
Meet daily and weekly targets with the supply of engineering to achieve the production plan.
Design and develop new products to meet the changing legislation and market place requirements.
Convert the customer’s sales specification into an engineering pack for production with bills of materials and labour estimates.
Produce procedures for production and quality departments to achieve consistent standards of specifications and finish.
Implement changes to achieve quality improvements and cost reduction working with Purchasing, Sales, Production and Quality departments.
Interface with the technical/engineering departments of the chassis and component suppliers.
Produce drawings for the sales department to aid sales of non-standard products and allow costs to be estimated.
Work to the company’s quality system and its requirements to maintain the company’s CoP status.
Work with the company managers on projects that utilize your technical expertise.
Maintain a professional and responsible attitude at all times.
