This team harnesses cutting edge technology and the latest requirements and programming techniques including SCRUM and Agile to solve their clients’ most complex and immediate issues. The team designs and builds innovative solutions to compliance and risk issues in the financial crime and regulatory fields and provides specialist services to large and complex data-driven projects throughout the wider firm.

Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst you will:
· Write high quality Business Cases, Use Cases, Requirements Catalogues, User Stories and Business Process Maps in accordance with project requirements;
· Elicit and document business requirements and managing stakeholders as part of either discovery or project delivery with excellent business writing and presentation skills;
· Provide analysis support to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project to ensure business requirements are delivered appropriately;
· Work closely with technical teams (Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure & Operations) to ensure business requirements are accurately converted into technical solutions;
· Define project plans and task breakdowns, providing completion estimates and project timetables;
· Share experience and knowledge to enhance the BA team ways of working and overall performance;
· Have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firms’ commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.
Demonstrable (must have) experience of the following is required:
· BCS (ISEB) qualified (or equivalent);
· Degree in an IT related discipline or qualified by experience;
· Any Agile/SCRUM certification and/or experience working in an Agile environment/applying Agile methodologies
· Experience and knowledge of business analysis principles and methodologies;
· Excellent communication skills and a demonstrable Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders – Technical team and Business;
· Ability to focus on detail, transferring into accurate and quality-driven product documentation;
· Competent in Business Process Mapping and writing user stories;
· A team player with the ability to work collaboratively and positively with others in an open, friendly, flexible and facilitating manner;
· Strong software development lifecycle understanding;
· Confident and comfortable to work under pressure and manage a number of tasks simultaneously; and
· Desire to both develop individually and to continually review and develop BA team methodology, working to ensure a positive perception of the team.
Additional desirable (nice to have) experience includes:
· Exposure to Cloud services such as AWS - Amazon Web Services (preferred) or Azure;
· Past experience as a software developer or tester;
· Previous Wireframe and Prototyping experience; and
· Understanding of the financial services industry;
