Salary: £18,000-21,000
Location: Leeds
Technical
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
· An excellent understanding of HTML/ XAML and CSS
· Knowledge of Scripting language C# would be ideal
· Broad, general Web background knowledge would be beneficial
· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
· Experience using bug tracking/ ticket tracking software would be beneficial
Design
· A good understanding of design best practice and design principles, able to work to a design brief, and be design-conscious enough to apply colours and branding to a standard template when required.
· Some experience of digital design would be ideal.
· Some experience of creating HTML emails, and Word letters and brochure templates
Duties & Responsibilities
· Becoming an escalation point for a small team of 6 to create templates for (bespoke software), specifically helping deliver projects to new clients.
· Looking at processes and thinking of how they can be improved, having the confidence to positively challenge elements of the project cycle don't work. Working closely with team leader to provide feedback.
· Being able to handle difficult conversations to promote positive action.
· A confident and steady pair of hands, who can navigate difficult situations in a focused way.
· Able to deliver with care and confidence - delivering work would be required in this role.
· Able to look at day to day at a more strategic level and consider the best approach.
· Thinks of the team's well being and projects, making strategic decisions when needed.
· Project calls with delivery team to discuss CST team progress and flag risks
· Highlight report to team leader of team progress
· Assist with Recruitment and performance management when needed
· Attend daily / weekly project meetings with CST team
· Daily Morning meeting with CST team
· Liaise with senior management when Team leader is absent
Project
· Excellent time management skills (able to manage multiple projects at once, comfortably and when required look at other team member's work to make strategic delivery decisions)
· Take responsibility for own projects, team projects and for the success of the delivery team.
· Ability to plan and organise workload effectively (keeping tabs on their own progress and progress of others as well as whole team)
· Understanding of working in a process driven environment (appreciating the need for a process, willing to make decisions that will impact team with confidence and with evidencable benefits)
· Confidence to flag risks on any projects and suggest approaches to mitigate. To be proactive and try and spot risk on any projects and flag before situation escalates.
Personal
· Exceptional attention to detail i.e. checking a scope of work, noticing design details, good writing ability.
· Strong communication and organisational skills, able to challenge in a constructive way to benefit a project and team processes.
· Articulate and personable, good customer service manner, professional yet friendly to customers, approachable and helpful.
· Able to work in a fast paced environment, able to keep calm and assess best approach for a situation.
· A proactive approach, suggesting improvements to client, observing problems and seeking solutions.
· Able to deal with difficult situations and take responsibility to ensure projects are delivered.
· Able to become a primary escalation point when manager is not in.
· Able to help team when needed.
· Able to provide feedback and assist with performance management/ recruitment
