As an experienced solutions architect within this team, you will use and develop the skills you have acquired, working closely with the London team on a wide range of projects across Europe.

 

Responsibilities

 

As typical with my clients’ organisation, the team work in a highly agile and flexible way, supporting a diverse range of client, business and technical requirements.

 

As a Cloud Solutions Architect you will:

 

·         Understand what it takes to deliver and support high quality solutions that align to the needs of clients based on the AWS platform;

·         Be passionate about Cloud technology and Cloud adoption, constantly evaluating new services and acting as an evangelist across the Forensic Technology practice;

·         Be a problem solver, troubleshooting and improving existing DevOps processes as well as providing support and advice for development teams;

·         Be curious and want to develop your knowledge of current and future technologies and how they can be leveraged;

·         Liaise closely with the Cloud team to ensure platforms align with company and global standards.

 

Strong skills in:

 

·         Building platforms in AWS (preferably serverless application stacks);

·         Knowledge of agile software development tools and methodologies;

·         Experience of automation and provisioning approaches, using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, CloudFormation or similar.

 

Experience:

 

·         2 years + working with AWS services;

·         Agile framework (SCRUM preferred);

·         Design and implementation of “secure by design” systems (including encryption and MFA integration)

 

Additional desirable (nice to have) experience includes:

 

·         AWS qualifications to support knowledge

·         Experience of development or scripting

·         Experience with container-based development approaches

Hours of work: Standard office hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday but flexible working is possible
