Salary: £35,000 PLUS pension, commission, Perkbox, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
Ideally the candidate will have experience within selling communications.
Non-Negotiables
· Experience of field-based B2B sales
· Experience of lead generation; the successful candidate will be responsible for generating their own leads.
· Experience of building relationships with stakeholders Full UK Driving Licence Required.
· Demonstrates excellent experience and knowledge of working in B2B Sales
· Have a proven sales ability within a fieldbased environment;
· Ability to understand and have a detailed knowledge of the business market within Telecoms
· Clear and effective communicator, ensuring messages are shared with teams, and you demonstrate excellent active listening skills;
· Evidence of dealing with difficult conversations both formal and informal and have managed instances of disciplinary, grievance and appeal with staff members.
· UK Driving Licence

As Business Development Manager you will thrive in winning new business as well as maintaining and developing your current relationships to seek further opportunities. The ability to generate your own leads through networking and relationship building within target community areas is essential, as is the confidence to develop a strong presence and influence within local areas.
You are required to deliver an effective account handover process through the delivery of excellent customer service and strong internal relationships with deskbased account managers, as such providing the customer with a smooth implementation process that is industry leading in service.
You must thrive on working in a targeted and challenging environment and have the passion for adding value to each new customer by introducing a joined-up solution, enabling our customers to have one supplier and one bill for all their communications where applicable.
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:
· Demonstrates excellent experience and knowledge of working in B2B Sales within a Telecoms environment
· Proven ability to drive incremental revenue, create new relationships and manage existing ones
· Good Mobile Industry knowledge and acumen
Key responsibilities of the role include
· Self-generate leads through networking, referrals, relationship building and calling
· Provide a high-quality customer experience during new business acquisition
· Over time manage the retention of your own accounts, ensuring those customers are correctly account managed and reviewed
· Ensure maximum customer retention and constantly seek to reduce customer churn within the Business Customer base
· Conduct promotional activities to generate revenue and increase both O2’s and our company’s brand visibility
· Establish and develop a strong presence and influence within local areas and with key business leaders within the targeted areas
· Establish strong business relationships through networking both individually and through networking events
· Liaise with the deskbased Account Managers and Contact Centre Team regarding all value-added services that O2 provide, to ensure consistency to all business customers
· Share best practice and ideas within the Business team to offer training support and development to your peers
· Undertake projects and ad hoc tasks to support development and growth of the Company’s strategy
· Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to remain competitive within the market
· Work effectively with stores and O2 to ensure a strong relationship is maintained and knowledge is shared with referrals maximised
