Description


Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (Pro-Rata) - PLUS Pension, Free parking, Annual discretionary bonus, based on the company's performance, Healthcare etc.



Reporting to the head of finance, a rare permanent part-time opportunity working for this IT organisation in Manchester is available to someone up for the challenge of taking over the reigns from their current outsourced facility.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 

·         CIPD qualification

·         Experience of organisations with the head count around 20-50 people

·         2-3 years' experience, with evident experience of setting up new processes

 

The Human Resources Manager will coordinate and implement all people related services, policies and programs to support and develop the people management functions with the business that underpin the business culture. The HR Manager will be an integral member of the evolving Middle Management team supporting the overall success and growth of the business.

 

·         Establish HR measurements to support the accomplishment of the company’s strategic goals

·         Employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinary, grievances and sickness

·         Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement

·         Coaching managers on performance management issues and processes

·         Providing guidance on development for managers and their teams

·         Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement

·         Managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns

·         Giving advice on company benefits

·         Ensuring all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law and ensuring line managers are up to date with any change in policy

 

Key Skills:

 

·         Full CIPD qualification (or be positioned to achieve this imminently)

·         Proven experience in a similar role and the drive to deliver the best possible results for the organisation

·         Superb communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and confidence in advising employees across all levels of the business

·         Ability to manage a range of employee issues to conclusion with strong understanding of employment law

·         Be a skilled influencer with the ability to gain commitment from different areas to benefit the organisation

·         Experiences in identifying business risk related to an organisation’s people

·         A good collaborator, leader and diplomat

·         Organised and able to work to deadlines

 


Job Title: Human Resources Manager (Part Time 22.5 hrs per week)



Location: Manchester



Salary: £18,000 to £21,000 – Prorated earnings for 22.5 hours (PLUS Pension, Free parking, Annual discretionary bonus, based on the company's performance, Healthcare etc.



Job Type: Permanent - Part Time - in 18 months’ time (or so) there is scope for this position to move to a full-time position as the organisation will be growing
