Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 DOE + Excellent benefits including 25 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, Bonus, career development and lots more



This role will work on a number of learning projects within the Training & Knowledge team designing and developing innovative and engaging learning deliverables.  The learning output will predominantly be online but not exclusively and some training delivery may be required. The role will be based in Milton Keynes but some travel to London (or other regional offices) may be required.

 

Role description

 

You will come from a learning and development background with experience of working on multiple learning projects simultaneously.  You will be used to working with people from all levels of an organisation in order deliver the project on time and to scope.  You will be an experienced content developer used to designing online learning using the most relevant tool.  You will be competent in Adobe Creative Cloud and ideally will have experience of animation products.  The successful applicant should also have a thirst for learning new technologies and be able to pick up new technology quickly. Some instructional design experience would be an advantage.

 

Responsibilities

 

•    Work on multiple learnings elements for a number of internal projects at the same time

•    Create assets for deliverables – such as images and icons

•    Liaise with stakeholders from across the organisation to ensure requirements are gathered, timelines are met and the project is completed successfully

•    Provide creative and innovative ideas to ensure all learning developed is engaging and appropriate to the audience

•    Develop learning content for both online and classroom delivery channels following the development process and using the most appropriate tools

•    Perform administrative tasks as and when required

•    Ensuring learning content is delivered on time, to scope and within Brand

•    Developing innovative and engaging online learning and classroom training using a number of different tools

•    Delivering virtual or classroom training if required

 

This role will need the following skills/qualifications:

 

•    GCSE or equivalent in English/Maths

•    Experience of the core Microsoft Office packages - essential

•    Experience within a training environment - essential

•    Experience of creating online/digital learning content - essential

•    Advanced PowerPoint skills - essential

•    Windows 8.1/10 and Office 2013 experience - essential

•    Experience of using Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, Ontuitive Cloud – highly desirable

•    Experience of creating animation using Adobe Creative Cloud products - highly desirable

•    Instructional design experience - highly desirable

 

In addition:

 

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Demonstrate a friendly, professional and approachable manner and be customer focussed

·         Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task

·         Demonstrate a methodical, analytical and clear approach to problems and how to negotiate to solutions

·         Able to work using your own initiative and show attention to detail in both your own work and others within the team when reviewing content

·         Commitment to working with the team to maintain a positive team spirit, with a desire and drive to meet and exceed team targets
