Automation Tester

Proven experience of test automated tools, automation framework, an improvement-focussed mindset and experience of working to Agile improvement methodology is required for this fantastic opportunity to join a leading company in its field. You will report to the Test Lead.

Any exposure to Cloud-based systems would be highly advantageous (but not essential to the role)

You will have the following Technical Knowledge and Skills

·         Hands on experience of test automated tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestComplete and infrastructure testing tools like Load Runner/Login VSI etc

·         Extensive experience in automation framework creation

·         Proven experience in requirement gathering, test preparation and execution for major application integration and/or major application product release

·         Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices and methodologies

·         Extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft Office 2016, O365 and CRM applications

·         Experience of testing cloud/hosted services

·         Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities

·         Experience with statistical reporting and analysis

·         Hands-on experience of defect management tools (e.g. JIRA)

·         Mobile Automation tool experience(desirable)

·         Experience with infrastructure, network and VDI testing tools (desirable)

·         Capable of translating complex requirements into test cases and scenarios

·         Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

·         Good knowledge and awareness of data protection and information security issues and requirements

Salary: £32,000 to £36,000 – Benefits (see below)

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (35 hours a week) – 25 days holiday PLUS Bank Holidays + 2 free days near Christmas
