What are we looking for?
An enthusiastic and analytical MI / Data Analyst looking for an opportunity to join this market leading "compensation" team (salary, bonuses et al) based in Central Milton Keynes. If you are looking for a pathway into a position within a compensation / reward team OR you’re already working in a compensation role then this role will be up your street.
Compensation / Reward experience is NOT ESSENTIALto this role but the following requirements are:
· An interest in Compensation & Reward but focused on salary / bonus analytics
· Experience as a Data / MI Analyst
· Highly analytical - experience working with, analysing and manipulating data
· Advanced skills in MS Excel
· Logical thinker
· Confident using different systems
· Get involved with other projects
· Streamline processes / implement changes
As part of this established Total Reward team you will play a key role in supporting the annual pay review process including benchmarking pay practices, providing insights through data analysis, identifying methods to improve processes and engaging with stakeholders to explain approaches and implications. Effectively rewarding employees is critical to the success of my clients’ business
Your role
You will be responsible for providing reward expertise across a number of reward approaches with particular focus on the annual salary and bonus review. You will also provide support to various reward projects across the UK and Swiss businesses.
Responsibilities
· Manage and deliver annual/ad hoc reward projects dealing with a wide range of stake holders including Centres of Excellence, HR and other Service Line stakeholders
· Provide support as necessary on Firm wide projects such as benefit benchmarking and analysis
· Following legislative changes, with direction from the manager, support update existing policies owned by Reward
· Provide input in the creation of reward related training materials for the business and how to guides for the HR knowledgebase
· Engage with various stakeholders and HR colleagues providing professional and expert Reward advice and commercial solutions
· Develop high quality enduring and healthy relationships with key service line stakeholders
· Support the Senior Reward Managers in the design and delivery of the pay and bonus review for their respective service line in accordance with Total Reward Strategy
· Analyse and interpret market data, develop pay matrices and salary/bonus modelling in accordance with the Total Reward strategy for the service lines supported
· Provide expert advice on pay and general reward policy matters
· Work with the Senior Reward Managers to identify opportunities for improvement and develop appropriate solutions in line with the Total Reward strategy
Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Milton Keynes - some occasional travel to London will be required - expenses paid
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 depending on level of experience + excellent benefits including 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 1 extra around Christmas, Bonus, Pension etc.
Hours of work: Standard hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm, however there would be flexibility outside of these times - maybe work from home once a week.
