This role is for an ECM Infrastructure Analyst, a technical application support engineer role within the IT Business Applications team at my clients offices in Milton Keynes. The role is focused on supporting the backend platforms and the application software on these systems.  The emphasis is on the technical side and a strong Windows server environment back ground is required, along with knowledge of multi-tiered server applications. The systems are large enterprise content management (ECM) systems. It would be in ideal role for someone who wants to expand their knowledge and cross skill into other areas.

 

The position resides within the Enterprise Content Management team which provides support for my clients document management system and supplemental applications, it is also responsible for the firms Auditing and Tax systems.

 

The role is to add additional support to a growing team.

 

The candidate will report in to the team leader and they will be responsible for the day to day support and maintenance of the platforms, will be expected to contribute to the continual improvement programs and in time become a subject matter expert and take ownership of certain components of the systems.

 

To qualify for the role you must have:

 

·         3-4 years minimal experience working in a Microsoft enterprise environment.

·         Strong experience in Windows server 2008 r2/2012

·         Strong experience in Microsoft IIS 6 and IIS 7

·         Strong experience Active directory and authentication.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft failover clustering

·         Knowledge of load balancing technologies i.e. NLB and F5

·         Strong experience managing CIFS/Windows file sharing protocols and access control

·         Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server 2012/14/16 and T-SQL

·         Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server availability groups

·         Ability to work in a team and contribute to the team’s success.

·         Ability to work alone and on own initiative outside hours.

·         Follow logical and methodological process to solve issues.

·         Communicate affectively within the team and also to other teams and the business.

 

Your professional experience

 

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or IT related topics

·         Microsoft Certifications

·         ITIL foundation exam

·         Meridio, Content Manager

·         Any other enterprise document management systems i.e. OpenText or Documentum.

·         Geo Clustering Skills

·         Strong SQL servers skills

·         Knowledge of Kofax and K2

·         VSTS

·         DevOps

·         Scrum / Agile

·         Scripting and coding, PowerShell, .net and SSIS

·         Can-do attitude
