- Description
Salary: £35,000 to £39,000 + excellent benefits package including £600 flexible benefit, pension, bonus, 34 days holiday inclusive of 8 bank holiday days and more
As a HR Generalist you will be enthusiastic about this fantastic opportunity in this newly formed team. The HR Advisory team have merged with the Lifecycle / Sickness absence team and are now a team of 18.
Your Generalist HR, Employment Law AND team management exposure will put you in best place to perform your duties in this role. The team is affectionately known as “The Bad News Team” so be prepared to be involved with the grittier side of HR (under performance, disciplinaries, lost and stolen laptops, data breeches, AWOL, exam fails et al).
As Assistant Manager / Team Lead, you will get to know how the team operates, champion your colleagues, allocate work and create a “together as one” atmosphere and working environment.
The newly merged team have a myriad of skills between them and your role will include finding out where peoples strengths are and utilising those whilst seeking out peoples “weaknesses” and upskilling those through the training and development on offer whilst maintaining BAU.
This is an operational role (roll your sleeves up and get involved) rather than a “strategic” one so be prepared to get your hands dirty, use your knowledge to work to current processes and also to provide NEW solutions to reduce risk.
In short you need a Generalist HR background (CIPD OR QBE considered) AND managed a team of people (teams of more than five ideally)
Are you ready for the challenge?
