Description



Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 DOE + excellent benefits including 25 days holiday PLUS bank holidays, pension, bonus



This role is part of the MI team within Human Resources (HR) Operations, part of Internal Client Services (ICS) supporting the business. The team is responsible for delivering analytics and key management information and business insights on all people issues to the firm’s Executive, Talent Executive and HR partner as well the Service lines, which is vital to run a successful people based business.


 



Your role



You will liaise directly or via a Manager with different stakeholders across the organisation to establish what processes/procedures are necessary to deliver the correct information to enable them to run their business successfully. Where appropriate, following due governance, you will lead or manage project teams to deliver or develop those ideas into actions.



·         Design and implement projects that exploit analytics in new ways to address existing business issues



·         Build and implement analytics solutions on a variety of platforms i.e. KPI dashboards



·         Manage quality, accuracy and usability of analytical tools / technology during design phases



·         Analyse data for integrity, accuracy and usability



·         Creation and provision of timely and accurate MI for specific areas within the business



 Your professional experience



·         Degree in business / engineering / maths with a focus in quantitative methods and/or equivalent working experience in the data analytics space



·         Proven expertise of working with data, highly numerate and able understand the value that MI and analytics can deliver



·         Experience in working with data to apply a more scientific approach to people management



·         Excel (v-lookups, macros, pivot tables)



·         Experience and awareness of visualisation tools, SAP Business Warehouse, Tableau, QlikView



·         Ability to merge data sets



·         Demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems and interpreting MI to a variety of audiences



·         A keen interest in functional areas in HR i.e. Talent, Recruitment, Learning, Organisation Design or Change Management



·         Entrepreneurial mind set with Can do, will do attitude



·         Strong numerical and analytical skills



·         Excellent communications skills



·         Capability to define client needs, design and implement appropriate MI solutions



·         Being able to work as part of a team



·         Ability to use initiative and to work effectively under pressure



·         Ability to work well under pressure in the face of conflicting and/or short deadlines



 Technical Skills



·         Reporting applications and visualisation tools



·         Excel



·         Complex V-Lookups, Complex SUMIF



·         Index and matching, Array formulas



·         Visual Basic, be able to modify visual basic macros, make message boxes, input boxes and variables, know how to run loops, “Do Until” etc,



·         Manipulate queries and reports



·         Creation of custom variables



·         InList function



·         If statements



 Desirable



·         Experience of working in a professional services environment



·         Experience with SAP HR MI (Ad-hoc Query) capability



·         Experience with SAP HANA



·         Experience with Business Objects



·         Experience with Tableau, QlikView etc



·         Being an advocate for MI
