Salary: £24,000-£27,000 doe + benefits

 

Essential:



  • Proven 2nd line bespoke application support experience.


  • The ability to work as part of a team and independently where appropriate.


  • Ability to prioritise work with strong troubleshooting skills.


  • A natural desire to investigate and diagnose hardware and software issues as well as documenting these processes as and when required.


  • Experience with Bespoke Software Solutions, SQL, Azure, ITIL, Agile Methodologies and ISO 27001 will be advantageous but not necessary.


  • Great opportunity to join an operations team as a support engineer for a core application and associated products and provide technical deployment support of remotely to customer servers.


 

Role Description:



  • This is an opportunity to play an integral part of the support process.


  • Working with and assisting junior members of the team in the support of the core software across all customers.


  • Training will be provided to gain an understanding of the product.


  • Working within the Operations Team, provide 2nd Line Support for software applications deployed to customers


  • Serve as an escalation point for the 1st Line Support Team


  • Maintain and monitor internal reporting tools and liaise with 3rd party suppliers to resolve issues


  • Utilise knowledge and experience of operating systems and bespoke applications to investigate and resolve reported faults.


  • To produce concise issue resolution and user documentation as required for reference to colleagues and customers.


  • Develop knowledge and skill sets to confidently support all products and solutions


  • To carry out audits, reporting and monitoring as required
