You will be responsible for delivering real-time telemetry dashboards to operations support staff monitoring 50+ customer installations.
Contract Description
Opportunity to deliver real-time telemetry dashboards to operations support staff monitoring 50+ customer installations with real-time alerts of degraded or degrading services.
Consuming incremental data loads into an Azure instance, you will be designing and developing the user interface, underlying data structures and processing required, to deliver clear and concise status dashboards with the ability to drill in to finer detail for diagnosis and developer feedback. You will also have the opportunity to integrate with Jira and direct push alert mechanisms to maintain support team processes and allow issue resolution to start before they are reported by customers.
This is an ELK stack focused role and we are looking for a highly motivated, results driven engineer to bring this vision to life.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Design and implement ELK (Elasticsearch and Kibana) stack solutions in Azure with containerisation a possibility
· Create Dashboards to show solution performance and status
· Provide Elastic Search tuning/optimizing based on dashboard data needs
· Develop integration with Jira to allow creation of internal support calls
· Develop automated alerts and notifications to trigger support activity
· Develop code with quality, scalability and extensibility
· Provide assistance with data anomaly detection and setting appropriate alert thresholds
· Provide guidance on longer term data storage and management
Qualifications and Skills
· Expert knowledge with the Elasticsearch platform in Azure at an Enterprise level – 3+ Years
· Expert knowledge in Kibana Dashboard and Visualisations (v6.8+) – 3+ Years
· Expert knowledge in ELK memory management, data processing and fine tuning for performance
· Knowledge of Kibana canvas and CSS
· Strong Analytical and Communication skills

Location: Home-based with travel to Maidstone, Kent (maybe once a week)
Day Rate: Negotiable
