Full training is offered for this door to door business development position – there is nothing to “sell” per-say other than engaging with retailers and developing relationships to see if they would like to have the product installed for free into their business.
You will be self-motivated, be able to find the decision maker having hunted down those outlets where the product would thrive.

Targets
Achieve the targeted number of new locations each month
Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective locations within the target area and plan sales activities to ensure these are closed at the earliest opportunity
Visit all new installs and assist with all measures to improve profitability
Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying prospective locations for the product within a specified area/region
Extensively research the allocated area/region and create a clear plan to target locations where the highest commercial returns can be achieved
Pro-actively undertake a variety of activities on a weekly basis to meet or exceed targets
Report timely and accurately in relation to all sales activities on a weekly basis
Ensure all contractual paperwork is accurately completed and submitted with all required documentation and site surveys
Assist the Operations team as required in relation to the site preparation and the installation of the product
Visit all new installations and assist with the promotion of the product
Assist with the review of product performance for installed products on a monthly basis and any commercial renegotiations that may be required
Ensure all communication with site owners and colleagues is conducted in a professional and business-like manner
Meet all agreed deadlines and ensure the service delivered is as promised
Support the Management and wider business with ad-hoc requests as required from time to time.
Desired skills and experience:
Demonstrable record of successful sales and portfolio management
Accustomed to working in high pressure and deadline driven environments
Sales and negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to plan and time manage effectively
PC literate – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Driving licence
Highly self-motivated
Job Title: Business Development Executive – Site Selector
Location: Central London – Your work will be based in this area
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 basic + commission (OTE £8k-£10k) + benefits including 28 days holiday PLUS Bank Holidays, Pension, Life Cover etc.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
