Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and switched-on individual to be part of this small Warehouse team working in a varied and interesting role. A great opportunity to learn and be involved with a number of different tasks on a daily basis.

 

What skills do you need to be considered for this role?

 

·         Experience of working in a warehouse, adhering to health and safety rules

·         Receiving, logging, putting away of goods

·         Picking, packaging, creating shipping documents / post slips, labels, invoicing of goods/materials

·         When receiving or despatching goods, check for quality of items

·         A good level of education – good with numbers and recording data

·         Experience of using a Reach Truck would be highly beneficial, although, not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate

 

What will be your objectives?

 

·         Prepare orders for shipping, including packaging, and labelling as required, meeting requirements for product quality and throughput at all times

·         Despatch goods as per customer instructions, complying with all relevant regulations and requirements

·         Receive and book in goods received from external suppliers

·         Continuously replenish material stocks available to production to ensure constant availability of materials

·         Ensure a high level of cleanliness and visual control throughout

·         Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

 

Salary Explained

 

For someone with Warehouse / Goods In experience WITHOUT a Reach Licence salary will be somewhere around £19,000 - £20,000 + Reach Training – If you hold or have held a valid Reach licence, the salary will be in the region of £20,000 - £22,000 depending on the status of your licence.
