£45,000 + £5,034 car allowance

Location: Homebased with travel

*12 month Fixed Term Contract*

Ideal locations: Manchester; Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Kent, Bristol, Wales 



The Benefits Realisation team is part of the digital transformation function, which reports directly to the Medical Director and engages with all areas of the business.



Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant Business Change / Benefits Realisation experience

• Experience of working with NHS EPR system processes and systems implementations

• Experience and ability to positively influence digital transformation and change

• Development and implementation of stakeholder management strategies

• Experienced in enabling successful realisation of benefits

• Excellent analytical and presentation skills

• Willingness to travel and stay away from home

• Organised and self-motivated

• UK driving licence

 

Desirable Skills:

• Understanding and experience of digital transformation within the UK healthcare sector.

• Clinical background.

• Knowledge and experience of creating analytical visualisations and dashboards.

• Experience of data validation and data interpretation.

• Good numerical skills and good attention to detail.

• Experience in translating requirements into analytics.

• Some knowledge of statistical techniques and the application of data science.

Key Responsibilities:

The Benefits Realisation Specialist role comprises of 2 parts:

 

Business Change:



  • Stakeholder management


  • Completing organisation impact assessments


  • Development and management of the business change strategy


  • Development and management of workstream plans


  • Completion of operational readiness assessments


  • Validation of process maps


  • Facilitate standard operating procedure creation


  • Working alongside our Clinical Adoption and Clinical Safety colleagues.


 

Benefits Realisation:



  • Identification of the strategic benefits


  • Propose and agree benefits and the management of them within the deployment lifecycle


  • Advise customers on how to achieve desired benefits.


  • Development and management of the benefits realisation strategy


  • Develop and define local trusts use of the system & operational needs that provide the expected benefits.


  • Develop benefits assessments and measurements.


  • Reporting as necessary to senior management.


  • Produce case studies for reference in Internal and external communications.


  • Working alongside our Clinical Adoption and Clinical Safety colleagues


 

 

Non-deployment responsibilities:

• Supporting procurements with evidence-based case studies

• EPR adoption metrics development

• Manage and develop the benefits library

• Manage and develop benefits tools

• Development and management of the benefits strategy

• Develop benefits assessments and measurements

 

The overall objective is to ensure that all aspects of the delivery programme is implemented effectively, and that the Trust approves the benefits enablement that supports acceptance of the implementation, in line with the Trusts benefits realisation and transformation strategy.

 

Having a deep understanding and experience of NHS processes and the impact an EPR has on an NHS organisation to enable Benefits Realisation is crucial. Benefits Realisation is a key component which now acts as a deployment assurance for Trusts; guiding customers on this journey is imperative to long term relationships and outstanding company reputation.

There is a requirement within this team for an additional team member to support with the growing demand for transformation services across multiple sites. You will engage with senior teams to help design clinical and operational pathways while factoring in the impact of new technologies on working environments. You will be providing essential Business Change services and a Benefits Realisation framework for complex programme implementations in the healthcare sector.
