Salary: £11.00 per hour + holiday pay
Our client is seeking an experienced accounts payable / purchase ledger clerk to join their friendly team as soon as possible.
Experience in accounts payable operations
· 2+ years’ experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
· Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Financial management knowledge
· Experience working with JDE Software would be advantageous
· Experience in accounts payable operations,
· Degree or related accreditation preferred, not essential
Job Details
· Entering invoices onto System
· Establish payment cycles, taking advantage of preferable terms when applicable
· Making Payments
· Dealing with Tolls and fine payments
· Credits
· Send invoices to manager or department head for approval and paying them
· Remit payments, retaining receipts of transactions.
· Reconcile transactions and correct any discrepancies
· Accounts payable up to Reconciliation
· Manage and maintain Cashbox
· Spare Parts pricing/ordering
· Bank reconciliation
· Wee
· Fuel Cards payments
· Ordering of Peripherals
· Develop relationships with suppliers
Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Salary: £11.00 per hour
Location: Northampton
Hours of Work: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Job Type: On-going temporary, possibility of permanent role available but not guaranteed at this time
