Salary: £67,500 - £75,000 (depends on experience)



Provide real time data insights around production, sustainability and compliance to clients, supporting them to deliver improvements and value within their supply chains.

 

To help meet a growing demand for work in the arable sector, we are looking to recruit a new Project Manager. Ideally this person would be based out of the York office, however other locations would be considered for the right candidate. As part of this role, there would be travel involved to meet with project partners. The successful candidate would report into the Operations Manager.

 

Job Role

 

The day-to-day activities for this role include:

 

·         Responsibility for the ongoing delivery of projects, working closely with relevant colleagues and external stakeholders to meet overall project objectives

·         Working with colleagues to ensure detailed project requirements are gathered, and these are translated to the development teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions Project planning, understanding timescales and resource require for key deliverables and ensuring these are communicated with relevant stakeholders

·         Ensuring all colleagues are clear on their roles & responsibilities, and supporting them to ensure the end outcomes are met

·         Reviewing project progress against milestones, and ensuring any obstacles to progression are overcome by working with the relevant colleagues

·         Providing regular internal and external project progress reports to ensure all relevant stakeholders remain updated

·         Communicating end project outcomes with the internal colleagues to help realise future commercial opportunities

 

Key Skills

 

The following skills would be required for this role

 

·         Experience within the agriculture sector is highly desirable

·         Must have extensive project management withing supply chain and logistics

·         Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with a variety of internal colleagues and external stakeholders

·         Good attention to detail, ensuring a high-quality standard to all work delivered

·         Proficient with basic Microsoft programs including Word and Excel

·         Capable to work independently and confident in decision making

·         Adaptable and able to work across multiple projects at the same time
