Hourly Rate: £10.00 to £12.00 + Holiday pay
Our client is seeking a HR Assistant / Administrator to join their HR Team on a temporary contract. The HR Assistant will report to the HR Manager and work closely with the HR Assistants to provide admin assistance with Recruitment, contracts and other general ad-hoc duties.
Great opportunity for a Graduate (HR or Business domains) or someone with a couple of years’ experience in a HR admin related role
Skills & Experience:
· Recent graduate within Business or HR domains (desirable)
· A minimum of two years administration experience, preferably in HR (desirable)
· Some experience with in-house recruitment
· Good administrative skills using MS office products
· Accuracy in data entry and recording/reporting
· Requirement to work with confidential and sensitive information
· Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Excellent organisation, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both orally and in writing
· Team player
This will be a varied role within a busy shared service HR department, where the main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Recruitment
· Rebranding JDs
· Liaising with Marketing to ensure roles are advertised on our websites
· Uploading jobs onto job boards – Findajob/LinkedIn/University websites etc
· Filtering through CVs when required
· Scheduling interviews and providing feedback to candidates and recruitment agencies
· Making offers of employment
· Helping HR Assistants with paperwork for New Starters such as completing offer letters and personal terms of employment
· Host calls between the hiring manager and recruitment agencies to explain job role requirements
· LinkedIn CV management – posting new roles, filtering CVs and passing onto the relevant hiring manager
· Providing full cover for end-to-end recruitment in the event of absence or annual leave
· HR System Management
· Creating new accounts and inputting employee data into Breathe HR
· Ensuring employee records are up to date and maintained on our HR system
· Running ad hoc reports for the HR Team as and when required
General Administration Duties
· Raising POs/regular contact with Finance department to ensure invoices are paid (particularly for Recruitment)
· Cover of HR Recruitment Inbox/HR Inbox when required
· Employee Action Notification forms - actioning new starter, leaver and ad hoc employee changes such as line manager, job title and department change letters
