Salary: £24,000 to £29,000
To provide excellent customer service to my client’s Import clientele. Continuously review ways of working to ensure shipments are managed efficiently and ‘right first time’. Develop industry knowledge to support identification, delivery and enhancement of Margin opportunities.

Your role will consist of the following duties and you will be trained in those areas where you fall short of experience so long as you meet the “required skills” mentioned above:
· Manage Import container movements on behalf of clients
· Work closely with origin offices to ensure consignments move correctly and on time
· Provide transactional service supports such as Customs clearance and haulage
· Act as direct point of contact for clients, ensuring that all operational requirements and enquiries are concluded accurately and courteously
· Communicate and escalate to team members and Management wherever necessary
· Ensure total accuracy of all information and high standards of operational service are met at all times
· Observe deadlines and SOP
· Generate and maintain control sheets to fully track and audit all consignments accurately
· Maintain systems with accurate and real-time data
· Provide ad-hoc freight quotations on request, using every opportunity to up-sell services
· Monitor and control all cost and revenue at job-file level
· Confirm and process all job-file invoicing
· Participate in Team Meetings
· Take responsibility for themselves and others at all times observing Health and Safety and any related laws governing the workplace
· Any other duties reasonably requested by the Team Leader and Management
