Salary: £55,000 + 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pensions, life & health insurance, continued learning, gym et al
Must be capable of obtaining UK security clearance (e.g. UK resident for at least past 5 years; overseas candidates cannot be accepted).
Our client creates market leading secure communications solutions for voice, video, messaging and data on smart devices, Windows 10 desktops and integrates with landlines.
Their product offerings include NATO and UK approved solutions at Restricted and Official-Sensitive levels, with options for use up to SECRET. Supplying government, large enterprises and finance markets around the world, with an easy to use, intuitive app, available in app stores and a highly scalable cloud-based service or an on-premises solution providing customers with complete control and privacy of their communications.
As you will be the only C# .NET developer in the company, you will have to be experienced or competent with those technologies. You will be integrating other components developed in-house and those developers will be able to provide support and help to you.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and evolution of the Desktop application and a chance to make a significant impact on the company software solutions.
There will also be scope to work on other products as they have Android, iOS, Desktop (Electron/Typescript), Web services (NodeJS/React).
Must Haves
· Experience developing native desktop applications using C#.NET
· Develop well-designed testable efficient and maintainable code
· A passion for creating beautiful engaging intuitive and highly usable user interfaces
· Familiarity with CI build tools and processes to help keep us improving
· Able to work autonomously and integrate well in a diverse team of people
Nice to have skills/experience
· Understanding of general security, authentication and cryptographic principles
· Experience of creating designs in Figma
· Experience of developing with Electron, TypeScript, JavaScript, C, C++
· Familiarity with VoIP technologies (e.g. PJSIP, SIP, XMPP, voice, video, WebRTC, STUN/TURN)
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain native Windows desktop applications using C#
· Design the application user interface
· Implement secure coding practices and adhere to coding standards
· Conduct comprehensive testing covering unit and system level
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
· Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve application development processes
· Maintain the CI/CD system for the application

London, SW1– Willing to travel to the office 1 day per week but it is likely you will only need to go in once every two weeks for Agile/Scrum planning days
