Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
A great opportunity to join a successful company in their expansion. Reporting to the Finance Director (with dotted lines to both Operations and Commercial Director), you will be responsible for capturing, tracking and reporting financial data relating to the various business activities “job management”. Largely process driven and involving numerous areas of the business, good communication skills are required along with the ability to utilise Excel in order update the management team and present the current financial position on a timely basis.
We are seeking candidates with Excellent Excel skills. Someone who Manages project costs effectively and are able to communicate cooperatively across other members in the company. You will be proactive and use your initiative in being capable of building an efficient system without instruction . It would be great if you have experience in a similar role for a company who has experienced significant growth.
Experience and Qualifications:
· AAT or part professionally qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working at a similar level.
· Strong accounting and numeracy skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
· Strong Excel skills
· Problem solving attitude.
· Confident in dealing directly with both suppliers and customers.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Experience with accounting software systems such as Xero.

Key Stakeholders:
INTERNAL - Operations Director, Commercial Director, Finance Director
EXTERNAL – Bank, Suppliers, Customers
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Monthly Job management incorporating the tracking of sales, purchases, accruals and prepayments.
· Analysing timesheets in order to enable time cost apportionment to all live jobs on a monthly basis
· Assist in the delivery of management accounting including; monthly reporting, monthly forecasting and budget preparation
· Responsible for monitoring and reporting on cash flow
· Managing the purchase ordering system ensuring correct process is followed
· Posting of purchase invoices, journals and other monthly routine processing
· Tasks
· Collation of KPI and budget performance by Job
· Development of the management reports (Excel based)
Management Accountant
Telford, Shropshire – Office-based for the first 2-3 months, hybrid working model available after this time
£35,000 to £40,000depending on experience + statutory pension, free parking, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays,
9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
